This 4-ingredient guacamole recipe is the easiest topping you could imagine. Plus it's as delicious as you'd hope. Top nachos, tacos, burritos or burrito bowls with it.
Prepare the avocado by slicing it in half. Then thrust knife into pit, turn, and remove from avocado. Slice avocado in skin using the knife. Then spoon out avocado from the skin. Place in medium sized mixing bowl.
Add ~½ T lime juice (about ½ lime, juiced) and ⅛-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, and a pinch of salt to avocado. Mash with spoon or fork if needed, mash until desired smoothness.
Serve with chips, over meat, etc.
Notes
Avocados are ready to eat when they're soft to the touch at the top of the avocado.
Use equal parts of white vinegar or lemon juice if you don't have lime juice.
Add minced red onion, tomatoes, cilantro, or salsa if desired.
