Ingredients

  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 granny smith apple
  • ¾ cup milk

Instructions

  • Chop apple.
  • Spoon in ½ cup plain (or flavored) Greek yogurt, ¾ cup old fashioned oats, 1 Tablespoon peanut butter, 1 teaspoon chia seeds, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and your chopped granny smith apple. Of course, just use your favorite apple.
  • Pour 1 cup milk over oatmeal, at least cover oats. Refrigerate for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • You can use a honeycrisp, fuji, or any other apple that you like.
  • Feel free to add a banana or some sugar if you like it sweeter than it is.
  • Use your favorite flavor of yogurt.
  • Swap the chia seeds for flax seeds, or omit.
  • Glass jars look great and can be great, but can also be heavy, if you're taking this to work, consider a lighter weight container.
