Skip the drive-thru and use this homemade shamrock shake recipe for St Patrick's Day that's minty, delicious, and naturally colored green, plus it's ready to eat in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 handful spinach leaves
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 4 Andes mints
  • whipped cream

Instructions

  • Add ½ c vanilla ice cream, 1 large handful spinach leaves, ¼ c milk, and 4 Andes mints to blender jar.
  • Blend until smooth. Top with whipped cream and another Andes mint.

Notes

  • The spinach leaves make this shake green, but don't add a spinach-y flavor, unless you add more than a handful.
  • Use any mint chocolate you like, or use mint chocolate chip ice cream.
