Let your guests or yourself do the work by making their own customizable apple cider mocktail drink!

    • Sparkling apple cider
    • Orange
    • Lime
    • Grapefruit
    • Rosemary

sliced citrus in a champagne glass

1.Start making your apple cider mocktail by thinly slicing an orange, lime, and grapefruit. Place 1 slice of orange, lime, and grapefruit in a glass. You can just use a couple slices of one type of citrus too.

    2. Pour cider over fruit. Add small sprig of rosemary to each apple cider mocktail drink. Enjoy immediately.

    Storage Tips

Keep the plastic lid that comes with sparkling apple cider. It'll help keep your bubbles in the cider for later. Just make the drinks when you're ready to serve them.

    Substitutions/Tips

    • Feel free to use just one type of citrus in this apple mocktail if that's easier! I recommend lime. Or swap out the fruit for berries!
    • Slice up fruit, sprigs of rosemary, and leave a few bottles of sparkling cider on a table with these instructions if you'd like to have this drink at a DIY mocktail table.
    • Other great add-ins: fresh berries, thinly sliced citrus, fresh mint, rosemary, basil for garnish.

    FAQ

    Is mocktail just juice?

Mocktails aren't just juice. They can include juice, but often have a variety of ingredients in them, just like cocktails without the alcohol. This apple mocktail is one example.

What is a cocktail and a mocktail?

A cocktail has some kind of alcohol in it, a mocktail does not. This makes mocktails a great option to serve kids and people who don't drink alcohol.

    • Pomegranate Lime Spritzer
    • Easy Mimosa Mocktail
    • Raspberry Mojito Mocktail

what can I make with leftover ingredients?

When you're cooking for one, you often have leftover produce, cans of whatever ingredient, etc. Here are a couple ideas on how to use up the leftover ingredients. It'll help you save money by wasting fewer ingredients.

    • Orange: Spinach Salad with Roasted Pears & Oranges, Fish Tacos with Orange Salsa, Mimosa Mocktail
    • Lime: Pistachio Pesto Sauce, Steak & Shrimp Fajitas, and Warm Kale Salad
    • Grapefruit: Avocado and Grapefruit Salad
    • Rosemary: Rustic Potato and Brussels Sprouts Au Gratin
